With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our beloved Carter Bentley Himes, who left us too soon on August 17, 2025, at the tender age of 5. Carter was a radiant joy, his laughter and curious spirit brightening every moment.
Born on January 22, 2020, Carter's sparkling eyes and warm hugs filled our lives with love. His boundless wonder and sweet nature touched all who knew him. Tragically, Carter was taken from us in a pool-related accident, leaving an irreplaceable void.
Carter is survived by his loving mother, Autumn, his devoted dad (stepfather), Tom, his big brother, Derrek, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
His memory will live on in the love and joy he shared so freely.
A private celebration of life will be held for family and friends.
Carter's light will forever shine in our hearts.
Rest in peace, our little Rooster.
