Casey was born on December 02, 1980 in Bakersfield, CA to Alan Dale Fenton and Janet Carol Fenton. He has one older brother, Christopher Shawn Fenton. He attended Beardsley elementary and junior high and made many friends along the way. He met the love of his life Stefanie at Beardsley junior high, and they began dating junior year in high school. He graduated from North High School in 1999. He attended Bakersfield College for a few semesters; his favorite class was Music Appreciation. Casey and Stefanie married on April 13, 2002. In July of 2003 he attended the California State Correctional academy and in October 2003, moved to Susanville, CA to begin his career as a Correctional Officer at High Desert State Prison. His first son Matthew Lee was born April 30, 2004. In the summer of 2005 Casey transferred to Kern Valley State Prison so that we could be closer to family. His second son Andrew James was born September 25, 2006, completing his family. In 2007 he selflessly saved the life of an inmate by performing CPR and was awarded the bronze star for his heroic efforts. He loved golfing, disc golfing, the Green Bay Packers, owls, thrifting/antiquing, collecting old books (especially first edition and/or signed copies), collecting trading cards (he has too many to count), collecting rocks, playing poker (his dream was to play in the world series of poker), fishing, hunting, art, watching movies (The Matrix was his favorite), TV shows (Ghost Adventures, Paranormal Caught on Camera, Squid Game, Treehouse Masters, What On Earth, Regular Show) and sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer and Golf), listening to music (The Doors, Metallica, Green Day, Nirvana, Bob Marley, CCR and many more), reading and writing poetry, BBQing, and going to the beach. His favorite food was pizza, no questions asked, but he also loved a home cooked meal. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Stefanie, sons Matthew, 21 and Andrew, 18, Father Alan, Mother Janet, Grandmother Roxie, Brother Chris, Nephew Ethan, his wife Martha and their two children Sophia and Dylan, Mother-in-law Teri, Sister-in-law Trish, Nephew Bryson, Nieces Madyson and Alyson, along with countless aunts, uncles and cousins.
