Marjorie E. Fenton

Marjorie E. Lee Fenton, age 80, of Wilmot, PA passed away at her home early Tuesday morning, July 8, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Towanda, PA on June 29, 1945 the daughter of the late Robert (d. December 7, 2000) and Catherine Johnson Lee (d. January 22, 2009). She was a graduate of Towanda High School. On November 21, 1964 she married the love of her life Arthur Lee Fenton.

Marjorie was a Seamstress for many years working for Claudette Burke. She was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. She took great pleasure taking walks around the farm. She would not allow anyone to touch the stove as she was a great baker and enjoyed to cook. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Marjorie is survived by her sons and wives, Chris and Chrisey Fenton of Lovelton, PA and Matthew and Tanya Fenton of Wilmot, PA; her grandchildren, Harrison, Preston, and Carter Fenton and Zachary and Mackenzie Fenton; her siblings, Robert Lee (Linda), Alice Shelhamer, Jessie Lee (Patty Harrison), Dora Walters (Peter), Chip Lee (Gwen), Terry Lee (Sheryl), Gary Lee (Gail), Susie Woods (Jan), and Bobbi Kay (Ronnie); as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Fenton (d. October 21, 2022); her sons, Arthur Lee Fenton, Jr. (d. October 18, 2022) and Jeffrey Robert Fenton (d. November 11, 2023); her mother/father-in-law, Ruth and Rufus Fenton; as well as two infant siblings.

Abiding by Marjorie's wishes a private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at the St. John's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Marjorie's name to the St. John's Lutheran Church, 116 Carpenter St., Dushore, PA 18614.

The family would like to thank Amy, Mallory and Cheyenne and the rest of the staff of Guthrie Hospice for the care for Marjorie over the last few weeks.
