Our beloved Cassidy - mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend - passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 26 on January 24th, 2022 at her family home in the beautiful rolling hills of Unicoi, Tennessee.
Cassidy was a sweet soul who loved her children and family immensely. Her smile and bright blue eyes would light up an entire room, especially when she was with her children. She had a passion for the beauty and mystery of nature. From gemstones and crystals to the stars and planets, her appreciation of the natural world was second only to the love she had for her children and family. She was fascinated by the ocean and marine life, and her childhood dream was to become a marine biologist. Cassidy loved animals and nurtured countless stray cats and dogs over the span of her life. She showed great compassion for the elderly and was always happy to help a person in need. She was bold, adventurous, and loved to have fun. Our lives are much dimmer without Cassidy, but Heaven became a brighter place the day she left this world.
Cassidy was of the Baptist faith and attended New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.
Cassidy is preceded in death by her father, Tommy Joe Tolley; aunt, Stacey Yarber; paternal great grandparents, Blake and Elsie Tolley; maternal grandfathers, Howard "Earl Lee" Cantrell and Crate Shelton.
Cassidy leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Dakota Waters, her beloved young children, Coraline and Corben Waters all of Erwin, TN; mother and stepfather - Mellissa and Csaba Szucs of Erwin, TN; special aunt and uncle - Debbie and Glenn Nielsen of Erwin, TN ; sisters - Chandera "Toody" Tolley and husband Alex Bailey of Eagle River, AK; Chelsea Lenea' Adkins of Bluffton, SC; and Jessica Szucs Grindstaff and husband Jason of Johnson City, TN; special sister - Tina Cantrell of Charlotte, NC; brothers - Holden Blake Tolley of Johnson City, TN; Matthew Szucs of Brooklyn, New York; and Steven Szucs of New Haven, CT; paternal grandparents - Phyllis Tolley of Unicoi, TN; and Aurelia Szucs of Marshall, NC; maternal grandmother - Rosella Cantrell Shelton of Marshall, NC; mother and father in-laws - Dean and Jana Nelson of Erwin, TN; paternal aunts - Emily and Tiffany Nelson of Erwin, TN; special cousin - Brazahn Austin of Johnson City, TN; and many other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
May you rest in peace, beautiful angel. You will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
