Cassie Elaine Stidham, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on April 30,2025.
Cassie was born on September 19, 1940, in Barstow, Texas, to Marquis and Judith Irwin. A devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother, Cassie lived life with a boisterous spirit and a heart full of love. She had a vibrant personality that filled every room she entered and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marquis and Judith Irwin; her brother, Bill Irwin; her beloved daughter, Karen Christianson, and Karen's husband, Rob Christianson; as well as two great-granddaughters, Addy and Lexi Rawls.
Cassie is survived by her sister, Darlene Howell of Odessa, daughter Pamela Flud and husband Benny Flud; her son David Stidham and wife Valerie of Houston; and her six grandchildren: Benny Flud Jr. and wife Courtney, KaElla Peters, Kara Rawls and husband David, Corey Stidham and Yanelly, Caitlyn Lowell and husband Jeremy, and Sofia Stidham of Houston. She also leaves behind 13 cherished great-grandchildren who were a constant source of pride and joy in her life.
Cassie will be remembered for her fierce love of family, her contagious laughter, and the energy she brought to every gathering.
Per her wishes, there will be no funeral or graveside service.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Gentiva Hospice for their care and support. In memory of Cassie, donations can be made to Gentiva Hospice.
