Catherine Ann Boron

Catherine “Cathy” A. Boron, 74 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on the morning of February 2, 2026. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 24, 1951 to Richard and Mary (Kubera) Hennard. Cathy grew up in Southwest Detroit and graduated from Redford High School in 1969. She raised her three children on her own and worked various jobs during that time. She moved to Mio, Michigan in the early 90s and then later moved to Lewiston where she met the love of her life, Jerry Boron, and they eventually married. During her time in Lewiston, she took care of many ailing people without thinking of herself. Cathy loved tending to her flower garden, traveling across the United States with Jerry, and feeling the wind in her hair while she rode on the back of his Harley Davidson. Cathy was both kind and thoughtful and leaves behind many that will miss her deeply.

She is remembered by her loving husband, Jerry Boron; children, Robert (Dawn) Brozowski, Jason (Stephanie) Brozowski, Amanda (Jeremy) Kopp, stepchildren, Mark Ouellette Jr, Robin Ouellette, Rhonda (Paul) Mier, Daun Boron, Tracy (Kevin) Henley, grandchildren, Alexandra Brozowki, Connor Brozowski, Duncan Kopp, Emmett Kopp, and Xavier Kopp; siblings, Richard (Deanna) Hennard, Claudia (Dan) Ingalls; nieces and nephews, Maureen Barkell, Sarah (Jeremy) Laessle, Ricky Hennard, Zach Ingalls, Shannon Yodzevicis; step-grandchildren, JT Boron, Trevor Kibby, Dillion Kibby, Ally Munger, Andrea Munger, Jacob Henley, Chase Henley; step-great-grandchildren, Braydan, Kylee, Aspen, Atlas, Lincoln Log, Stormy; great-nieces and great-nephews, Sawyer Laessle, Isla Laessle, Ellowyn Laessle, Jack Yodzevicis, Ethan Yodzevicis, Skylar Yodzevicis; and good friend, Vincene Congioloso. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Hennard; sisters, Lynne Kazcmar, Susan Hennard; stepson, Junior Boron; and nephew, Kirk Yodzevicis.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of her life at a later date. Memorials may be sent in memory of Cathy to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
