Catherine Mercer McCormick

Catherine Mercer McCormick, age 43 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away September 3, 2023.
Caty was born in Hattiesburg, MS on August 8, 1980.
Graduate of duPont Manual High School, YPAS, Centre College, University of Louisville, and Post Graduate work at Yale University.
She was a former President of Kentucky's League of Women Voters. In 2004, she was Louisville's Young Woman Professional.
During her career she worked for Humana, Mercer, Inc., and Centre College. She was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick McCormick and her godparents, Bernie and Ruthie Sams.
She is survived by her children, Jackson DeWitt, Sophia DeWitt, and Ruthie Cate Todvine; parents, Harry Mercer and Debby Mercer and a gaggle of wonderful family.
Memorial service will be 12pm, Thursday, September 7, 2023, at St. Matthews United Methodist, 319 Browns Lane Louisville, KY.
The visitation will be from 10am-12pm at the church.
Memorial donations can be made to the memorial scholarship fund to benefit college fund for Caty's children Jackson Dewitt and Ruthie Cate Todvine. Please make checks payable to Debra Mercer/on behalf of Catherine Mercer.
