Catherine Menzies

Catherine Menzies, age 84, of Fairless Hills, was called home by Jesus Christ, with her family by her side, on Friday July 12, 2024 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Falls Township. Born in Vestaburg, Pa., she was a resident of Lower Bucks County since 1966. Catherine was a 1958 graduate of Centerville High School. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was employed for 30 years at the K-Mart in Langhorne, retiring in 2006. Catherine's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Daughter of the late Julia (Koncewycz) and George Green, and wife of the late Donald D. Menzies, Jr., she is survived by her children Debra K. Menzies, Donald D. Menzies, III, Keith I. Menzies, her sisters Julia Brenna, Anna Mae Dutton, her grandchildren Donald D. Menzies, IV, Crystal A. Menzies and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was also preceded in death by her siblings Mary Otto, George Green, Margaret Taylor, Barbara Acosta and Thomas Green. Family and friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration on Tuesday July 16, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Beck Givnish Funeral Home, 7400 New Falls Rd., Levittown, Pa. 19055, where her funeral service will be held at 2:00 Pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org would be appreciated by the family.
