On April 26,2023, Catherine Anne Slaughter of Dinwiddie, Virginia, departed this life after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. She was a Registered Nurse for over 50 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Keith Monroe Slaughter of Dinwiddie, Jason Slaughter and Michelle Owen Stepson and daughter in law of Prince George, Virginia. Also surviving her are several family members and friends; John and Missy Strano, son and daughter in law of Columbia, SC; Dawn and Daniel Strano, granddaughters also of Columbia, SC; Mike and Linda Reynolds, brother and sister in law of Riverview, Florida; Lorrie Decker, sister of Ellenston, Florida; John Bertie, family friend of Ellenston, Florida; Chris and Debbie Reynolds, brother and sister in law of Holly, NY; Carole Gallina, sister of Holly, NY; Larry and Pei Ling Slaughter, brother in law and sister in law of Moore, OK; Kevin and Linda Joyce, brother in law and sister in law of Petersburg, VA; Debra Padgett, sister in law of Chesterfield, VA; Delores Stewart, sister in law of Nassua, NY; William and Freddie Overby, special family friend of Chesterfield, VA; Jenny Fisher, special family friend of Richmond, VA; Lena Fehling, close friend of Matawan, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held in Catherine's Honor at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Condolences may be registered at .
