Catherine "Cass" Patricia Wallace (nee McDevitt) passed away peacefully at the Paul's Run Retirement Community in Northeast Philadelphia at 94. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured great-grandmother. She loved gardening, sewing, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Marie (Bobby) Golden, Cynthia (Bob) Progner, Michael (Trish), James (Nancy), Vincent (Tami), and 9 grandchildren. Ryan Golden, Kyle Golden, Shawna Lebron, Michael, Dan, Hayley Dagit, Addison, Victoria, and Erica. As well as 5 Great Grandchildren, Isaac, Asher, Grant, Hank, and Harper.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Edward Anthony Wallace and her son Anthony Joseph Wallace along with her siblings, Edward, Agnes, Joseph, James, Daniel and Madeline, along with her parents, Catherine (nee Dougherty) and Edward A. McDevitt.

She was born and raised in Philadelphia, attending J.W. Hallahan Girls Catholic High School. And stayed in Philadelphia for her whole life, beyond an 8 year stay in Cape May, NJ.

During her life, she, along with her husband Edward, besides raising 6 active children, ran a successful catering business. She served as the secretary of the USS Carter-Hall Naval reunion commission, and they also hosted the 1998 USS Carter-Hall reunion in Philadelphia sharing a taste of the Birthplace of America to all their Carter-Hall friends.

Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Saturday, January 24th, 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Catherine's name to the Paul's Run Retirement Community.
