Cathy Hicks Obituary
Cathy was born in Rome, Georgia, on December 21, 1955, daughter of the late Carl Nathel Cook and Betty Jean Nichols Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Dover, and her brother, Michael Cook.
Cathy was a graduate of Armuchee High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and loved her church family. Cathy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Derek Dover, and Lee Selman; mother, Betty Jean Nichols Stewart; sister, Linda Cook McLarty (Ronney); brothers, Gary Cook (Debra) and Ronnie James Cook (Phyllis); six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 12:00pm until 1:45pm.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Rev. Steve Spears officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Creek Church Cemetery.

I remember my best friend from our Bakery days at Earth Grain´s!!! I remember great times with our children when we would come visit y´all in Armuchee I love you my dear friend and soo wish I could be there today.
