Cecil Lee Barnes was 87 years old when he passed away on February 11, 2025 at his home in Bakersfield California. Cecil was born on June 25th 1937 to Ida Brown and Henry Barnes in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Cecil passed in his sleep with his grandchildren by his side. He was a beloved father to Tina Julie and Juanita.
Cecil Barnes was an Army Veteran. In his life Cecil was a Cowboy/Rancher for San Emidio Ranch. A oil field worker for Tenneco and Ken Small Inc.
Cecil Barnes was hardworking and never failed to find something to fix. He was always there for anyone who was in need of a "Papa." He will be deeply missed by friends and family. Cecil is reunited in heaven with his daughters Juanita Mae Brogdin and Tina Marie Grannan, All of his siblings and his dog Lucky.
Cecil Barnes is survived by his daughter Julie Ann Barnes and his twin pillars whom took care of him to the end Shannon Fox and Kelli Barton alongside his other Grandchildren Jamie Lee Barnes, Mendee La vara Barnes Ryan Lee Barnes and his great grandchildren Bryson Prothero, Trenton Spangle, Zayne Prothero, Kayden Bavuso, Benjamin Andrizzi and Brooks Barnes
