Born in Pulaski, VA, he was the son of the late James Simonas and Lette Farmer.
Throughout his life, Reverend Farmer exemplified unwavering devotion to his faith and family. He was a member of Lighthouse Church of God and a former member of Lyman Church of God; where he continued to strengthen his faith in the Lord.
Reverend Farmer's character was defined by his exceptional work ethic, steadfast family values, and profound faith. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering commitment to those he held dear.
He is survived by his 7 children, and many beloved grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 5 children.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with the graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in Graceland Cemetery West.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
