Cecilia O'Connor, aged 82, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 14, 2024. Cecilia was born in Manhattan in 1941 to John and Anna (Icke) Murphy. She worked as a 4th grade teacher for 40 years at Immaculate Conception School in Stony Point. Cecilia was an avid gardener and loved sewing clothes for her mother and daughter. She loved being in the pool and teaching all her grandchildren, even the adopted ones, how to swim. Cecilia is survived by her daughter, Kerry and her husband Herbert; along with their 5 cherished children, Emily and her husband Frank, James, Andrew, Kelly, and Molly. Cecilia was predeceased by her brother, John. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made online to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

WE HAVE SIX CHILDREN THAT ATTENDED IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, AND SOME GRAND CHILDREN THAT ALSO HAD THE PLEASURE OF MRS. O'CONNOR AS TEACHER. OUR SYMPATHY AND LOVE GO OUT TO THE FAMILY. JOHN AND ELAINE PELUSO AND FAMILY.
