Ceil "Miss Sexton" dedicated her life to teaching for over 40 years, at Our Lady of Mt Carmel School, Wickliffe and Immaculate Conception School, Willoughby. She taught over thousands of students in her lifetime and was the family's official tutor. She was presented the Certificate of Outstanding Elementary Teachers of America in 1975 in recognition of her contribution to the advancement of elementary education and service to her community.

Ceil had many other hobbies, and talents, she enjoyed cake decorating, creating family albums, she spent many hours working in the garden and loved flowers. She was the official "Uber" way before her time driving her nieces and nephews to school, activities and shopping. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand whenever she was needed. She and her sister Bernie always had the bakery open for making cookies, Irish soda bread, popcorn balls and strudel.

After retirement she loved the game show network, and she played many games on her phone, such as WORDLE, Words with Friends, Solitaire, and there was always a jigsaw puzzle she was working on at the house.

She was happy enjoying the simple things in life, her faith, family and teaching. She will be deeply missed and we are grateful for all of her love and support.

The family suggests donations may be made in her name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110
