Cecilia Keane Vecchio

On Saturday, September 24, 2022, Cecilia Keane Vecchio,
generously loving mother, sister, friend and teacher, passed away at
82 years of age.
Cecilia was born in September of 1940 in New York, NY to Martin and
Loretta Keane. She received her teaching degree from Molloy
College in Long Island, NY. She went on to teach English in New York
as well as LISD for over 30 years. She raised two daughters, Andrea
Vecchio and Claudia Vecchio Wille.
Cecilia performed in musicals and church choirs throughout her
childhood and adult life. She loved to read, paint, bake, travel and
spend time with her three grandchildren, Harper, Silas and Sloane.
She was known for her compassionate heart, selflessness, and quick
wit. You could always count on her to find and give the most
thoughtful and perfect gift for her friends and family.
Cecilia was preceded in death by her father, Martin, and mother,
Loretta; and brother-in-law John Bartholomew. She is survived by her
two daughters, Andrea and Claudia; son-in-law, Patrick;
grandchildren, Harper, Silas, and Sloane; sisters Monica
Bartholomew, Therese & Dale Lindner, and Deirdre Keane; brothers,
Martin & Pat Keane and Gregory & Anne Keane; nieces and
nephews Michael & Linda Bartholomew, Paul & Alyssa Bartholomew,
Shannon & Dan Chudd, Maegan Keane, Emmett & Megan Keane,
Matthew Lindner and their children; and several cousins.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 13th, 2022 at St.
Ann Catholic Parish, 180 Samuel Blvd, Coppell, TX 75019 at 10
o'clock a.m.
