Celia Kay Coxton

Mrs. Celia Kay Coxton, age 62, of the Thompson Valley area of Tazewell. Virginia passed away on October 24, 2023, at the Lewis Gale Hospital in Blacksburg, Virginia, following an extended illness.
Celia was born in Maryland on December 17, 1960, and was the daughter of the late, Odner Agee Coleman and Linda Beatrice McCoy Coleman. She worked for many years with children at the preschool, she loved being around children. She was well known for being an event planner and Wedding designer. She had moved to North Carolina for a while and while there, she owned and operated a dog kennel. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Sue Coleman.

A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Coxton Family Cemetery located in Thompson Valley on Coxton Lane.
