Chad Dean Burns, age 47, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was born February 5, 1977, to the late Charles "Chuck" Burns and the late Teresa "Terri" Tweedy Burns.
He is survived by his loving sister Beth (Tony) Piazza, Paul Hyde, and Charlotte Burns. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends who will all miss his sweet smile, big hugs, and kind heart.
Chad grew up in Nashville and attended Hillwood High School, Bethel University, and Ole Miss. Chad had a love of family, friends, rock music, sports, and taking a ride on a beautiful day with the windows down and the radio up. Chad had unwavering love and appreciation for Connie Phelps and Gloria Shope who cared for him like he was one of their own. The family would also like to give special thanks to Parthenon Pavilion and Morningside of Belmont for the compassionate care that they gave Chad.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 9AM until 11AM. The Celebration of Life will follow at 11AM, all at West Nashville Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at 6849 Old Charlotte Pike. Pastor Tommy Clark will officiate the service. The interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to the Urban Bicycle Food Ministry (ubfmnash.org)
Flowers are being accepted at Compassion on Friday between 8AM-3PM, and after 8:30AM Saturday, at the church.
