Chad Bronson Lewis, 51, of Marion County, Florida, passed away on May 30, 2025, in Ocala, Florida.
Born in Fort Lauderdale to Helen Lopez Lardino and Clarence Barry Lewis, Chad grew up with a strong spirit and a heart full of grit. He attended North Marion High School and later earned his GED in 1992-proof of his determination to keep pushing forward and making his own way.
Chad spent much of his career as a drill supervisor, working hard for Mastec and Fishel. He was a man who took pride in providing for his family, always making sure their needs-and even their wants-were taken care of. He was the kind of person who filled a room with laughter, light, and just the right dose of mischief. Chad never missed a chance to enjoy life-he was always chasing the next good time, whether it was out hunting, casting a line at his favorite fishing spot, or kicking back with a cold beer and good company.
He leaves behind a family who adored him: his daughter, Ashlyn Lewis; his son, Colin Lewis (Ashley); and his precious granddaughter, Aleia Lewis, who brought him so much joy.
Chad is reunited in peace with his mother, Helen Lopez Lardino; his uncles, Melvin and Frank Lopez; and his cousin, Robert Lopez.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Roberts of Ocala – Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Ave, Ocala, Florida 34471. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:30 PM.
Chad will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, unwavering work ethic, and the way he made those around him laugh-often when they needed it most. His stories, his love, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
