Chad Michael Lorenz of Cape Coral, Florida died in his home surrounded by his loved ones on June 13, 2025.
Chad was born in Queens, NY to Karl Ernst Lorenz and Joan Dorothy Giardelli.
Chad was a graduate of Venice High School. After graduating from high School, Chad enlisted in the National Guard and the Army, where he was a part of the Infantry, Cannon Crew, ultimately reaching his goal of becoming an Army Ranger of the 1st Battalion 75th Regiment.
While in his military Career, he served 12 months in Korea and 19 months in Saudi Arabia, serving his country in Desert Storm/Desert Shield.
Chad was preceded in death by his father, Karl E. Lorenz; mother, Joan D. Sansone; and brother, Joseph G. Lorenz
Chad is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Lorenz, his beautiful children, Christopher Lorenz, Alexis (Andrew) Eastes, Anastasia and Brianna; his adored grandchildren, Peyton, Bryson, Hannah, Adalyn, Jaxson, and Hudson; his brothers, Karl L. Lorenz, Stephen A. Lorenz and Leonard E. Lorenz; step-father, Lawrence Sansone, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 30th at San Pedro Catholic Church, 14380 Tamiami Trail, North Port, FL 34287 with internment following at San Pedro Memorial Gardens
