Chad Perkins McDaniel, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 31, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Stamping Ground, a 2006 graduate of Scott County High School and a member of the Stamping Ground Christian Church. Chad was a skilled mechanic, HVAC technician and an avid outdoorsman. He loved farm life, hunting and fishing but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nephew William, who was his pride and joy.
Chad will be lovingly remembered by his sister, brother-in-law and nephew Briney Jo, Charley and William King, Panama City; Aunt/mother, cousin/sister and uncle, Bonda, Carly and Jack Burton, Stamping Ground; Mother Valerie Wigginton, Fort Myers; Paternal uncle and cousins, Robert McDaniel, Scott McDaniel, Tracy Ruggles, Beth Riley, Whitney Berger, Courtney McDaniel and Corey McDaniel. Maternal cousins, Anisa Stewart, Lindsay Gleason, Sedona Stewart and Robbie Stewart; Best Friends, Kenneth and Justin Hobbs, Jerome Young, Matthew Thompson and Joseph Weiner; and many other extended family members that will miss him very much.
Chad was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Perkins McDaniel, maternal grandparents, Joe and Betsy Wigginton, paternal grandparents, Roy and Marian McDaniel, uncle, Jan Wigginton and best friend, Jesse Thompson.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 2:00pm-4:30pm at the Stamping Ground Christian Church followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service with Rev. Jeremy Gillett and Rev. Chester Palmer officiating. A processional to the Minorsville Cemetery will immediately follow for the scattering of ashes at the family plot. A celebration of life fellowship will conclude at the Stamping Ground Christian Church. All are welcome to attend.
