Chad Merkle Obituary
Chad Aaron Merkle “Fairly Dangerous Man”, age 49 of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Chad was born May 29, 1975, to his parents Darrell Merkle and Teresa Younker in El Paso, TX.
Chad was a devoted father and friend. He was the glue that kept our family together, an ocean of love.
He obtained his GED and was a painter for Wackenhut Painting CO. He was a collector of NASCAR and football memorabilia.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents.
He is survived by his first spouse, Rebecca Merkle and son, Aeron Merkle; his second wife, Holly Oliver and daughters, Renee and Haley Merkle; and previous partner Elizabeth Parks and son, Braden Parks; grandchildren, Jaxson Tatge and Lillian Evans; sister, Kimberly Stewart; brothers, JD Merkle and Rickey Barber; step siblings, Michelle Hill and Kris Sams; stepparents Linda and Tony Sams; many nieces and nephews and an infinite number of friends.
Funeral services will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs Chapel, Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit two hours prior.
