JACKSON, SC – CHANCE EUGENE HEATH, 23, beloved husband of Lauren Gore Heath, passed away suddenly Sunday, July 14, 2024 at his residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Aiken County, Chance was a son of Phillip Eugene Heath and Denise Brannon Edwards. He owned Heath Lawn Care and was a member of Hollow Creek Baptist Church. Known for his boundless compassion and generosity, Chance was a beacon of love to all who knew him. His infectious laughter could brighten the darkest day, and his selfless nature meant he always prioritized the well-being of those around him. His love for animals, especially his cherished goats and loyal Yorkie Londyn, reflected his kind and nurturing spirit. His favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13.
Surviving is his wife, Lauren Paige Heath; parents, Phillip Heath (Tishauna), Denise Edwards (John); siblings, Justeen Edwards, Kelly Wirth, all of Aiken, David Wirth and Lauren Wirth, of Fayetteville, NC, Elaine Edwards and Patrick Edwards, of Germany; paternal grandparents, Raymond Heath (Denise), Aiken, maternal grandmother, Cindy Langford, Aiken; uncle and aunts, Raymond Heath (Amy), Joseph Langford, Nichole Fenn; his niece, Haley Edwards; cousins, Katelynn Henry (Austin), Brittany Brant (Dylan), Kylie Hutto, Kayona Langford, Clayton Langford, Adam Fenn; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Stacy McDaniel and Howard Gore of Aiken and his beloved Yorkie, Londyn. Chance was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Langford and uncle, Daniel Fenn.
The family will receive friends Friday morning, July 19th beginning at 10 o’clock at Hollow Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11 o’clock with The Rev. Steve Cartin officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Craig, Rob Jackson, Aimen Stewart, Vaughn Goss, Charles Johnson and Justin Simoneau.
