Charlene Marie Murray, 81, of Arlington, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, in Mansfield, Texas, with her family by her side.
She was born September 3, 1941, to the late Jack Meeks and the late Margaret Shaw Cavner. She was married to the love of her life for more than 50 years Ken Murray, and raised two daughters, Brenda and Sharon.
Charlene lived a long, fulfilling, and productive life and the simplest pleasures brought her the greatest joy. She enjoyed going to Winstar and was known to be a very giving woman. She would often keep the fort held down while her husband Ken was coaching football. She loved her family and friends but more especially her grandchildren. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ken Murray; brother, Jack Meeks; and sister, Patricia Nevels.
Charlene is survived by; daughters, Brenda Murray-Cadena and husband David of Arlington, and Sharon Murray of Arlington; grandchildren, Krysten Goocher, Kassidy Murray, Chelsea Smith; great grandchildren, Weston, Sophia, Spencer, and host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday October 6, 2022, Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, Pastor Dennis King, officiating.
Arrangements entrusted to Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home under the direction of Aaron King, Funeral Director.
