Charlene Towler Obituary
Born April 12, 1955 in Providence, RI to the late Charles R. Waldecker and Theresa "Marie" Waldecker, Shelley moved that same year after her father was assigned to a new post in California. Shelley was a 1973 graduate of Artesia High School in Lakewood, CA.
After marrying Charles "Richard" Towler on February 2, 1979 in Long Beach, CA, Shelley spent her life as a homemaker, who loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Family was important to her as she had many "adopted" grandchildren that found their way into her life over the years. She loved Elvis and shared his music and movies with her children and others. Pets were also an important part of Shelley's life through the years.
Shelley is survived by two sons, Michael Taylor of Atlanta, GA (Marlo) and Keith Towler of Orillia, ON (Shane), as well as two daughters, Jennifer Alexander of Rochester, WA (Bryan) and Desiree Foster of Roy, WA (Joe), 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Richard" Towler and her sister, Donna J. Waldecker.
