Charles "Chuck" Arthur Andersen, IV, age 54, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Maywood, Illinois, Chuck was the son of Charles Arthur Andersen, III and Patricia Andersen née Connon. He graduated from Loyola Academy, Class of 1988, and earned his degree from Barry University in Miami Shores, Class of 1992. It was at Barry that he met the love of his life, Tricia Balado. They married on August 19, 1995, and built a life grounded in love, laughter, and devotion to their family.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Patricia "Tricia" Andersen née Balado; his children, Charles "Charlie" Andersen, V, and Kaitlin (Braden) Amerman; and his cherished granddaughters, Victoria and Sophia Amerman. He is also survived by his parents, Patricia and Charles Andersen III; his brother, Kevin (Nicole, née LoBianco) Andersen; and his nephew, Max Andersen.

He was the beloved brother-in-law of Edward (Valeria) Balado and fond uncle of Brandon, Justin, and Isabella Balado. He was also the devoted son-in-law of Celeste (William) Davis and the late Eduardo Balado. Caring nephew of Karen Muse, Judie Borden, and Thomas (Chris) Andersen and Thomas (Donna) Connon.

Charles spent his life dedicated to his loved ones. He was a proud alumnus of Loyola Academy where he proved himself a fierce soccer competitor and true friend to those who knew him. He coached volleyball and baseball for his children (Kaitlin and Charlie) leading their teams to victory through his impactful mentorship. Charles was the president of Notre Dame College Prep Athletic Association where he facilitated instrumental assistance for the baseball program. Having worked in the Insurance industry for 25 years Charles ended his professional career as a Senior Account Executive at Marsh McLennan.

Charles was known for his strength of heart, unwavering resolve, and genuine pride in taking care of all around him. He will be fondly remembered for his loyalty, dedication to family, integrity, and fighting spirit.
