Elder Averett was a dedicated and respected missionary companion who served with me In the Central Pacific Mission in Hawaii ( Japanese) I was aware of his later extended educational achievements and as a respected teacher.

I enjoyed Mr. Averett as a teacher and a friend in Bear River Elementary school and again in Box Elder Jr. High. He always made time for his students and had a fun personality! I am sorry for your loss!
