Charles worked as a truck driver for more than 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft. In his free time, he loved working on cars, attending car races, and spending time camping with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Boggs and her husband Kevin, and Diana Violette and her husband Christian; grandchildren Justine and Brandon Berdan, and Nora Violette; as well as two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Hazel. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church in Benicia. Burial will be private.
