Lucas Daniel Pecoraro

It is with immeasurable sadness we share that our beloved Lucas Daniel Pecoraro is no longer with us.

Lucas left this world far too soon, but his spirit and generosity will continue to shine in everyone fortunate

enough to have known him.

Born at Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo, California, Lucas was the youngest of three boys and quickly became

the light of his family's life. He adored his brothers, Jason and Kyle, often waiting by the window for them

to come home from school. Alongside his cousins Alyssa and Miranda, and under the loving watch of

Aunt Julie, Lucas filled his childhood with laughter, mischief, and adventure.

A man of many talents, Lucas shared his father's gift for working with his hands and took immense pride

in his craft. He worked as a welder at Mare Island Shipyard, Production and Building and Grounds at

Northgate Christian Fellowship, and later as a Millwright for C&H Sugar, pouring his heart into every

project-whether building a bunk bed for his nephew or a handcrafted chest for his niece. His tool

collection alone could almost rival Home Depot's.

Lucas was passionate about life and endlessly generous with his time, energy, and love. Family was

everything to him-literally etched into his skin-and he was happiest surrounded by those he loved,

whether watching movies, playing games, or sitting by the fire.

He had a wide and eclectic taste in music-from Sinatra and Louis Prima to big band swing-and lived by

his favorite motto: "If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing." That enthusiasm showed in everything he did,

especially his legendary fireworks shows that lit up the sky and the hearts of everyone watching.

He was a perfectionist, a dreamer, and a force of nature-pushing others to be their best, even when he

struggled to see his own light. The sun won't shine quite so bright without him, but every spark, every

firework, every flicker of light will remind us of Lucas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd at 2:00 PM at Northgate Christian

Fellowship, 2201 Lake Herman Road, Benicia, CA 94510. All who loved him are welcome to attend.
