Dennis Frederic Kirsch

Dennis Frederic Kirsch was born to Alfred and Margorie Kirsch on June 6, 1938 on a farmhouse kitchen table in Stirum, ND. Raised in a very modest farming family, he learned the value of a hard days work at an early age. Dennis graduated from high school in Cut Bank, MT and served 6 years in the US Navy serving on the USS Enterprise as a nuclear reactor operator. Later attending Montana State University where he earned a BS and Masters in Electrical Engineering. Dennis peacefully passed away, and went to his Lord and Savior, on 10/3/2025 at the age of 87. He met his bride, Elaine Beseris, while studying to be a nuclear reactor operator in the Navy while attending Idaho State University. Dennis married Elaine, who followed him to live in Virginia, Montana, Texas, Idaho, and finally settling in Benicia CA in 1973. He eagerly became a father to his daughter Angela, Elaine's sister, in 1968 following the death of their mother. Daughter Litsa was born in 1967 and son Lee in 1969. Dennis was a devoted, supportive husband and father for the remainder of his life. As a father he worked long hours as an Engineer for the US government in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to provide for and protect his family. He became a devoted, supportive husband and father for the remainder of his life. Dennis had an unshakable faith and was devoted to, and loved, his Greek Orthodox Church. He was a "foody" at heart and loved to read and exercise. Dennis loved to tell stories, where the underlying lesson within the story was paramount rather than the details of the story itself. He loved playing games such as cards and rummikub with anyone who would join him. Dennis is survived, and will be dearly missed, by his daughter Angela (husband Jim), daughter Litsa, son Lee (wife Nicole), and his younger brother Dwight. He was blessed with seven grandchildren (Nicholas and Britani Bohacek, Christopher and Acacia Wagoner, and Andrew, Alyssa, and Aubrey Kirsch). He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
