Charles T. Cleveland
Of Susquehanna, PA
Charles T. Cleveland "Chuck", passed away peacefully after a brief illness on January 6, 2025 at Wilson Medical Center.
Chuck is predeceased by his wife Cheryl Lee Weaver; parents Albert "Red" and Carolyn Cleveland; and his companion Janet DePue.
He is survived by his daughter Caren and son-in-law Randy Bush; grandson Kevin Bush; and several cousins.
Chuck grew up in Susquehanna, PA and graduated from Susquehanna Community High School. After high school he attended Syracuse University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Shortly after his college graduation he was drafted into the U.S. Navy and served two tours in Vietnam. Chuck worked in different professional positions upon his return and later joined his father at Smith, Cleveland and Smith Garage eventually becoming Cleveland's Garage.
In earlier years, Chuck enjoyed sailing his boat on Coxton Lake and later being on the water again at Page's Lake. He loved watching and discussing sports with his grandson Kevin. Chuck's heart and soul belonged to Cleveland's Garage and his feline friend "Callie". He thoroughly enjoyed his friends and customers in the community, who often came to visit and check in on him. He will be remembered as the smiling, friendly gentleman at Cleveland's Garage who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Chuck cherished the time he spent with his family, friends and neighbors.
A private burial will be held in Lanesboro Cemetery at a later date per request of the family.
