Charles Webster Collins Jr., 81, of Macungie passed away on April 4, 2024. Chuck was originally a member of St. Thomas More Church in Allentown, PA and more recently, St. Ann's Church in Emmaus, PA. He was the son of Charles Webster Collins Sr. And Pauline (Rotnour) Collins. He graduated from Norwich High School in Norwich, NY. He loved to hunt and fish and spent summers working on his Grandparents' farm. He served honorably in the United States Army, where he was a helicopter crew chief, developing his lifelong love of flying. He attended Syracuse University, Mitchell College and graduated from the University of Illinois Institute of Aviation. After graduation, he was employed as a pilot for Kimberly Clark Corporation, and he owned his own plane for many years. Chuck was an Independent Broker and Financial Advisor for Linsco Private Ledger for over 35 years. He was an active member of Quiet Birdmen and was a Master Mason of Jordan Martin Lodge 673 and Lehigh Lodge 326. Chuck was a devoted husband to Carol (Connolly) Collins with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. He was a loving and caring Father and Grandfather to his beloved family and was a friend to all.
Survivors: Wife, Carol, Son Craig M. Collins (Stefani) and Daughter Christen L. Martino (Eric). Grandchildren: Alexei and Andrew Collins and Caeli, Keira and Megan Martino. Brother Paul Collins and Sisters Jennifer Collins Erickson (Edward); Lauren Collins Ripley (Michael); Susan Collins Palmer (Brian) and Nieces and Nephews Funeral Services at St. Ann's Church, 415 S. 6th Street, Emmaus, Pa. Saturday, April 27, 2024 Calling Hours 9 – 11 am Mass at 11 am. Stephens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to Shriners Hospital for Children or Alzheimer's Association.

I didn't get to know Chuck real well, since my husband was only with him a few months. But I did enjoy meeting he and Carol. Chuck was a great man to talk with and joke with. My sympathy goes out to Carol and family.

America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender.
