Charles Anthony Colosimo III passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 13th, 2022. Charlie was born on July 21st, 1990, in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles Jr. and Susan Colosimo. Charlie grew up on the South Side of DesMoines and graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 2009.
He welcomed his son Charles Anthony Colosimo IV with the love of his life Brooke Wagner. Charlie was a devoted father and adored his fiancé. When Charlie wasn't working, you would find him on the golf course or working on his lawn. Memories that were held dear to his heart was putting on the yearly 4th of July Day firework show, any win by the Iowa Hawkeyes and New York Yankees, and the wonderful family vacations to Italy, Steamboat, Jamaica and Mexico. Charlie befriended anyone and always knew how to put a smile on someone's face. He was the protector of his family, and he will be deeply missed by his loved ones. Charlie spent his life giving everything he could to others and continued to do so even in death by donating his life saving tissue to those in need.
Charlie is survived by his fiancé Brooke Wagner, their son Charlie Colosimo IV, his parents Charlie Jr. and Susan Colosimo, his brother Mario (Jenna) their son MJ, sisters Betsy and Olivia, and his grandmothers Linda Rosky and Carolyn Colosimo, and Brooke's parents Theresa Wagner, and Jeff Wagner (Wendy). Along with his 12 aunts, 8 uncles, 30 cousins, and 5 shih tzus.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather's Gregg Rosky and Charles Colosimo Sr.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 19th at 5:30pm at Terrace Hills Golf Course for his friends and family. The address is 8700 NE 46th Ave., Altoona, Iowa 50009.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family for his son Charlie Colosimo IV's college education.
