Charles Wesley Dennie, Sr. age 92 of Macclenny passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Macclenny Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A longtime resident of Ohio, Mr. Charles was born on November 25, 1930 to the late Wesley and Viola (Goforth) Dennie in Wilmore, Kentucky. He would work in manufacturing industry for many years, mainly as a tool and die maker. He spent his free time woodworking and enjoyed raising his cats. Charles enjoyed telling stories and spending with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son: Charlie (Brenda) Dennie, Jr. of Glen St. Mary; a step-son: Rick; grandchildren: Joey Dennie and Kimberly Klein; great-grandchildren: Makayla Wood, Madisyn Catling, Gage Catling, Hunter Dennie, Logan Dennie, Mason Dennie, JD Dennie, and Emilee Dennie; great-great grandchildren: Waylon, Timber, Braden, Miles, and Chipper; as well as extended family members and friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
