Charles "Charlie" Edward Dexter, 82, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, of Granbury, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Granbury.
A graveside committal service will be held at noon on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury.
Charlie was born on October 26, 1940, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Alfred and Helen Dexter. Charlie enjoyed watching FOX News and was always up on current events. Additionally, he enjoyed watching sports – particularly football. Charlie also enjoyed guns and working on cars. He was always a hard worker, being employed by the Commanche Peak Nuclear Plant (Siemens) for nearly 30 years. Most of all, Charlie will be remembered for his intellect and for his kindness toward anyone.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Wanda; his children, Kathy and husband John Dever, Karen Dexter, and Keith Dexter; step-son, Joe and wife Vicki Reed; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and by his brother, Tom and wife Becky Dexter.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Revels and by his step-daughter, Marla Vorhies.
