Charles cherished the time he spent with his family. Some may have described him as a homebody, but that was because his favorite place to be was with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a great Dad. He was easy going, understanding and most of all patient. Charles had a fantastic sense of humor and his grandchildren always wanted to hear his jokes, stories and "zingers". He was a huge Notre Dame football fan and rarely missed watching a game.
Beloved husband of Theresa E. (nee Damiani). Cherished father of Karen, Charles (Helen Mary), Jennifer Jerome and the late David (Ann). Devoted grandfather of Matthew, Sinead, John-Thomas (Hayat), DeanEric, Anthony, Alexis, Madison, Frankie, Gianna, Russell and Tessa. Loving great-grandfather of Emma and Cameron.
Relatives and friends are invited to offer condolences to his family on Friday December 29, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal St. Dominic Cemetery. To share a memory of Charles, please visit www.tjfluehr.com
