Charles E Forkey

Charles E. Forkey, 78 of New Castle passed away the morning of Feb. 4, 2025 at his residence. Chuck was born in New Castle Feb 1,1947 to the late Adolph and Winifred Jones Forkey. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, the former Annette Pazzo. Chuck was a proud Veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam Era. He is the retired owner of a local beer distributor, The Beer Depot, which he operated for over 34 years.
Chuck enjoyed visiting casinos and riding his Harley- Davidson Motorcycle. A devoted husband, father and grandfather his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially attending all his grandchildren's sporting events and activities.
In addition to his wife,Annette he is survived by his daughters, Lynne Eardley (Richard) and Michele Balcom (Ray), his sisters, Lois Edwards and Darlene Ritchie, six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, David, Carl, Harold,Raymond and Bill Forkey, and two sisters, Helen Fabian and Linda Canami.
Visitation will be held Friday 11:00am-12:00pm at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory 941 S. Mill St with a service following at 12:00pm officiated by Rev Richard Nero.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
