Annette Forkey, 86, of New Castle passed away the evening of May 16, 2025 at her daughter's residence in Wampum, PA.
Born in New Castle on March 18, 1939, Annette was the daughter of the late Michael and Cecelia Ritty Pazzo.
Annette was married to her beloved husband, Charles E. Forkey for forty- seven years. Charles preceded her in death on February 4, 2025.
In the early years Annette had worked for the Teamsters Local #261 as a secretary. She then worked for Peoples Bank, now First Commonwealth.
Annette was a member of Holy Spirit Parish. She enjoyed playing golf, watching it on television and visiting casinos. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Annette's greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Annette is survived by her two daughters, Lynne Eardley (Richard) and Michele Balcom (Ray), six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Burke, her second husband, Charles E. Forkey and her brother, Michael L. Pazzo.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A Blessing Service will follow on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Father Aaron Kriss.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
