Charles Edward Gaddy Jr, the son of Charles Edward Gaddy Sr. and the late Julianna Kipi Gaddy was born on July 28, 1975, in Frankfurt, Germany. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at the Novant Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Charles was lovingly called by family members and friends either Bubba or J.R.
Charles received his education in several different places but completed his schooling in the Robeson County Public School System, graduating from Fairmont High School with the class of 1993.
Charles was known by many for telling jokes, his love for R&B music which he listened to constantly; he loved playing his scratch offs; video gaming; cooking; and of course eating and he enjoyed trying different foods. His smile would melt your heart. He was a loving son, dedicated father and trusted friend.
Charles was employed at Elkay Plumbing in Lumberton, North Carolina for 20 years until his health began to fail.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother Julianna Kipi Gaddy.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories; his two heartbeats, daughters Katlyn Michele Kipi Gaddy and Kalani Janine Gaddy; his father Charles Edward Gaddy Sr, one sister Yolanda Williams, one brother-In- law James and a nephew Javion. He also leaves Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many special friends too numerous to name.
Charles will be sorely missed by many people especially his Elkay family, The Hunts; The Locklear's, The Oxendine's, The Humphreys, The Tuckers, The McBride's, The Sealys, The Jones', The Ross family and his beloved Gaddy family.
