Charles George Jr.

Charles George Jr. born July 31, 1975, to the late Gwendolyn (Francis) George and Charles George, Sr. was what we called a "Jack of all trades" until he became disabled. On Sunday, March 22, 2026 his words became clear as he spoke his last words of "Thank You"

Charles leaves behind five children DeJohn Garrison (Melanie), Bryson Joseph Yoneisha (Lita), Damarko Alfred (Fredericka), Nyawan and Najwan Fuselier(Kimberly), three grandchildren Leah, Bryson Jr and Braylen, a brother Darrin George, a sister Devenie George. Aunts Cassandra Francis, Jessica Francis(Norris), Charlene Sonnier, Denise Sonnier, Andrea Francis(raised with) and Uncle Wilbert Francis(Priscilla), Nephews Indie and Desean. As well as a host of maternal and paternal family members that loved him dearly.

Charles has gone home to heaven to sit amongst his loving parents Gwendolyn and Charles George Jr, maternal grandparents Angelina and Wilson Sonnier, Paternal grandparents Mary George and Wilson Guidry, Aunts Rachel Alexander and Debra Francis, Cousins Jason Francis and Martin Harris.

A visitation will be held at Kinchen Funeral Home of Lafayette on March 31st from 8 Am until time of service at 10 AM.
