Charles Van Gilbreath, 83, passed away in his home on July 28, 2025.
Charles was born on December 11, 1941, to Jack Van and Reba Gilbreath. Charles resided in Trenton, Georgia with his wife of 51 years, Patricia Ann Haney Gilbreath. Charles was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Ann Gilbreath; children, Rodney (Donna) Gilbreath, Rhonda (Bobby) Cranmore, Ed (Frances) Burns, and Ken (James) Murray. He has four grandchildren, Leslie (Cliff) Dye, Lindsay Burns, Kaylee Owen, and Ella Gilbreath; and one great grandchild Connor Dye.
Charles worked as a maintenance machine technician, in the carpet industry, for many years before his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed camping with his family.
The family would like to thank Sharon Bice, Denica West, Iris Christopher, and Bro. Darrell Cooper for their care and friendship.
Funeral services will be held at Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton, Georgia. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 30, from 5PM to 7PM and again on Thursday, July 31, from 11AM to 1PM, followed by the service at 1PM. The burial will be at Lake Hill Memorial Gardens.
