Chuck was a huge Indiana sports fanatic, he loved IU, Colts, Pacers and NASCAR. He enjoyed music of all kinds and even played the guitar at one time. He also loved fishing, cooking and grilling.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, his step Father; Arlas Ivy, one brother; Robert (Bob) Kelsey, and one sister; Marsha Smith.
He is survived by his longtime companion; Maureen Pothuisje, two sons; Jamison (Stacy) Kelsey, Jeremy Kelsey, one step daughter; Natalie Byrd, two brothers; Dave (Barbara) Kelsey, George (Leslie) Kelsey, five grandchildren; Jazmin, Mylee, Raylan, Erika and Deondre, one great Granddaughter; Auree, and a host of other family and friends who all will miss him dearly.
Chuck and his family would like to give special thanks to Rev. James Bailey.
Cremation will take place and upon his wishes, no services will be held.
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel will handle arrangements and online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.meeksmortuary.com.

I am so sad to hear of Chucks passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!! He was my "cool" Uncle!! I had not seen him in soooooo long, and not on Facebook, so I was way out of touch.
