It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Kirk Jr, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who left us at the age of 83 on August 15, 2025. Charles was born in Newburgh, New York on August 11, 1942 to Charles and Beulah Kirk.
He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Anella (Dolly) and his children, Kim (Ashton) Brown and Denise (Mark) Murray, his beloved grandchildren Ali and Carly Murray aka Sunshine and Buttercup, his brothers Jerry, Jeff, Mark and George. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John.
Charlie graduated from Cornwall High School in 1960 and entered the Air Force in December 1962. Charlie married his lovely wife Dolly on January 18, 1964 and relocated to both McClellan and Mather Air Force bases in California before completing his service in Thailand. Charlie & Dolly returned to the East Coast and raised their two daughters in Monroe, NY. Charlie dedicated a career as a power plant technician at Central Hudson Gas & Electric, Newburgh NY where he retired from in 2003. Not long after, Dolly & Charlie relocated to Naples, FL where they have been enjoying retirement ever since.
Other pleasures in Charlie's life were playing golf, playing bocce, riding slow on his motorcycle, driving anything Ford and keeping up with his favorite the Yankees!
A memorial service mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Naples, Florida at 10:00 am on Friday, August 29, 2025. Here is the link to the service- https://youtube.com/live/wCvl0Wg7OI8?feature=share
