Chuck, age 91, of Tomball was called to his heavenly home on September 15, 2024.
He was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Paul and Erna Kroll, who preceded him in death, as well as his wife Marge Kroll, sister Wilma Jean Pflueger, and brothers Rev. Paul Kroll, and Rev. Don Kroll.
He married the love of his life, Marge Scheerger, on September 16, 1956 at First Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska. After serving four years in the United States Air Force he was honorably discharged in California in 1957. The family moved to Seward, Nebraska and Chuck earned his teaching degree at Concordia Lutheran College. After teaching at various Lutheran schools in Nebraska, Chuck accepted a call to Zion Lutheran School in Tomball, Texas in 1975.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and then later in life doing stained glass, woodworking, and mission trips to Honduras. Chuck was faithful in reading and studying the Bible. His faith led him to be an example to family, friends, and all he met.
