Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary - Allisonville Rd.Charles Michael (Mike) Landis, Sr., 78, of Pendleton, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on August 3, 1947 to Charles and Elsie (Castor) Landis in Noblesville, Indiana.
Mike was a scheduler for Firestone for over 40 years before his retirement. He became an Eagle Scout in 1963 and in his younger years, Mike's hobby was working on cars. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially his time fishing with his dad in Canada. Mike and Annette enjoyed bowling together for more than 20 years. He raised rabbits in the 50's and 60's and loved all kinds of animals, especially dogs. Most of all Mike loved spending time with his family and supporting his grandchildren in their activities.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Annette Landis; sons, Mike (Christine) Landis, Matt (Elaine) Landis, and Mark (Katie) Landis; grandchildren, Chase, Bryce, Abby (Nic), Katie, Abbey, Emily, Micah, Ray, and Keith; siblings, Teresa Booth, Marcia Sexton, Timothy (Debbie) Landis, and Lee Anne (Bart) Burrow; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Dean Sexton.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with Pastor Jon Owens officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
