Charles D Meeks

Charles David Meeks, 61, of Walnut Ridge, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at his residence. He was born on February 26, 1964, in Pocahontas to Charles Meeks and Della (Jones) Meeks. He was employed at International Paper in Russellville and worked on the riverboats during his lifetime. Charles was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Walnut Ridge.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles Meeks; step-grandson, Elijah Bishop; and daughter, Crystal Atley.

He is survived by his mother, Della Meeks of Black Rock; daughter, Heather Fox (Cody) of Russellville; and stepdaughter, Misty Bishop of Imboden; brothers, Kenneth Meeks (Heather) of Imboden, and Gary Meeks (Candi) of Powhatan; grandchildren, Jason Bishop, Noah Bishop, Annalisa Atley, Bruce Atley, Payton Fox, and Gloria Fox; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, November 24, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Main Street Church of Christ in Walnut Ridge, with services immediately following at 11 a.m. Rob Combs will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
