Charles Mondi, Jr., age 84, longtime resident of Elmhurst, formerly of Wood Dale; Graduate of Fenwick High School and John Carroll University; former teacher and Hall of Fame swim coach at Saint Viator High School; former auditor with First National Bank of LaGrange and teacher at ICHS; Beloved husband of the late Jeanne, nee Anderson; loving father of Daniel (Marisa), James (Michelle), Paul (Carla) and Timothy (Cheryl) Mondi and Renee (Brennan) Kohl; cherished grandfather of Peter (Rachel) Mondi, Jeanna (Lorenzo) Saavedra, Paul, Colin, Luke, Nicole, Brady, Michael, Jack, Brian, Ryan and Kyle Mondi and Lily Kohl and great-grandfather of Oliver and Jamie Mondi and Isabella Saavedra; dear brother of John (the late Eileen) and William (Mary Lou) Mondi and Judith (the late Michael McMahon and the late Donald Bohmann) McMahon; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
