Charles Richard Moore

MOORE, Charles Richard, 58, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Lexington, KY. He was born March 14, 1967, in Medina, OH, to Charles Delbert Moore and the late Pamela J. Chafin. He grew up in Mansfield, OH, graduating from Madison Comprehensive High School in 1985. After which he joined the Marines, where he was stationed in 29 Palms, CA. After returning to Kentucky, he worked as a welder. He loved the outdoors, camping, dogs, conversation and music. Other than his father, he is survived by a daughter, Claudia (Jeremy) Guyn; Daughter in law, Joyce Crawford; grandchildren, Atticus and Watson Moore; sisters, Erin Grammer and Denise (Scott) Moore-Hornikel; nieces, Nora Grammer, Reba Grammer, Tiffani (Alex) Mayer, and Ashley (Shawn) Willman; nephew, Jaron Grammer; and devoted friends, who were more like sons, Jesse Muncie and Javier (Tatiana) Castro, and their children, Aiden, Alejandro, and Mateo. Other than his mother, he is preceded in death by a son, Bryan Moore. A 12pm service will take place Monday, December 8, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Main St. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm, Monday, at the funeral home.
