Charles "Bud" Noreika of Clarksburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2025, surrounded by his beloved daughters Jennifer and Christine. Born on July 28th, 1942, to Charles and Lillian Noreika, Bud lived a life dedicated to his family and community.
A well-known figure in the Clarksburg area, Bud made his mark through his various endeavors, including supplying propane, running a small engine repair shop, and operating Noreika's Christmas Tree Farm at the renowned Scooters Corner. His contributions to the community were significant, and he was beloved by many.
Bud is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lillian Noreika, as well as his two nieces, Sherri Yetman and Melody Scaglione.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by his daughter Jennifer Mulligan and her husband Peter, his daughter Christine Gialanella, and his three grandsons, Jordan, Jacob and Dante. He is also survived by his sister, Lois Fuchsloch, his brother, Robert Noreika, his nephew Richard Yetman, his niece Cindy VanGlahn and her husband Norman, and his niece Dee Bergdoll and her husband Kenny, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.
Bud will be remembered for his generous spirit, his unwavering commitment to his family, and his passion for serving his community. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A gathering will be held on Sunday, February 23rd at Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street in Freehold from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a repast/luncheon at the Elks Lodge in Millstone Township from 1:30-3:30 p.m., where family and friends can gather to celebrate Bud's life and share their fond memories.
Graveside services will be held St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 10 a.m.
