Funeral Services for Charles E. "Chuck" Prince, age 75, of Wayne formerly of Winside. Winside United Methodist Church, Tuesday 3:00 p.m. February 18th
Visitation Winside United Methodist Church Monday 5p.m. to 7p.m. February 17th. Arrangements with Hasemann Funeral Home in Wayne.
Interment Pleasant View Cemetery Winside
Memorials may be directed to the Prince family for later designation. He passed away suddenly Monday, February 10, 2025, at Providence Medical Center in Wayne.
Charles Edward "Chuck" Prince was born January 30, 1950, in Norfolk to Cecil Charles and Memphis Virginia (Tibbs) Prince. He was baptized and confirmed at the Winside United Methodist Church. After graduating from Winside High School in 1968, he attended and graduated from Wayne State College. He lived in California for about a year, before returning to the Winside and Wayne areas. Over the years, Chuck enrolled in many classes at Wayne State College and traveled to Spain. He worked at Logan Valley Sales Company in Pender full time and part time from 1997 up to the time of his death. He loved to read and to care for his cat, Boots.
Chuck is survived by one brother, Russell (Lorraine) Prince of Winside; nieces; nephews and cousins.
Preceding Chuck in death were his grandparents; parents, Cecil and Memphis; one brother, Buford Prince; one sister, Phyllis Prince and aunts and uncles.
